Clinical Support for Counselors Who Refuse to Leave Their Values at the Door.

Individual and group clinical supervision for LPC-ITs in Milwaukee, WI and virtually across Wisconsin, grounded in social justice, cultural humility, and genuine professional development.

Supervision Should Honor Who You Are. Not Just What You Do.

Finding a clinical supervisor is one of the most important decisions you will make in your early career. The right supervisor does not just help you accumulate hours. They help you develop the clinical confidence, self-awareness, and professional identity that will shape the rest of your career.

Too many supervision relationships are transactional, surface-level, and disconnected from the values that brought you to this work in the first place. Too many counselors finish their supervised hours feeling like they logged time rather than grew. Anna's supervision is built on a different premise. Becoming a great clinician requires understanding yourself as deeply as you understand your clients. Supervision is not just a professional requirement. It is a formative experience that deserves to be treated as one.

Supervision Built on Expertise, Not Just Experience

A Research-Backed Framework

Anna's supervision is grounded in the Reflective Developmental Supervision model (RDS, Young et al., 2011), a research-backed approach that integrates developmental strategies with reflective practices. This means supervision that meets you where you are in your professional development and grows with you, intentionally moving from teacher to consultant as your confidence and competence build.

Formal Supervision Training

Many supervisors are skilled clinicians who also supervise. Anna has received formal, PhD-level academic training in clinical supervision, including dedicated coursework, weekly supervision of her own supervision practice, and the development of her theoretical supervisory approach. She brings the same depth of preparation to supervision that she expects of her supervisees in their clinical work.

Social Justice &
Cultural Humility

Supervision at Black Sheep Wellness is not culturally competent as an afterthought. Social justice and cultural humility are a foundation Anna emphasizes to develop counselors who can work effectively with diverse populations, examine their own implicit biases, and build the advocacy skills needed to challenge harmful systems, in their practice and beyond.

The Counselors This Space Was Made For

Anna Kraft LPC clinical supervisor Black Sheep Wellness Milwaukee WI

Anna's supervision is for counselors who want to grow into clinicians who reflect their values, not just their training. This space was built for you if you are:

  • An LPC-IT working toward independent licensure in Wisconsin and looking for a supervisor who takes the process seriously

  • A graduate student completing practicum or internship hours who wants more than a signature on a form

  • An early career counselor who wants to examine your own assumptions, biases, and blind spots alongside your clinical skills

  • A counselor passionate about affirming practice who wants supervision grounded in social justice, cultural humility, and genuine multicultural competence

  • A counselor who is ready to be challenged, pushed, and supported in equal measure

If you are looking for somewhere to grow beyond logging your hours, this is the right fit. Anna will invest in who you are becoming as a competent, confident, authentic clinician.
