ABOUT

Black Sheep are the cycle breakers. They disrupt the status quo in the pursuit of authenticity.

Hi, I'm Anna Kraft (they/she)! I'm a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and the owner/founder of Black Sheep Wellness LLC. I created Black Sheep Wellness LLC to house my various roles, including therapist, consultant, and trainer/educator.

I chose the name Black Sheep Wellness to reclaim a phrase often used to marginalize people who question dysfunctional patterns, disrupt harmful systems, and seek authenticity. Black Sheep endeavor to transform harmful systems into spaces that support the wellness and dignity of all.

Reclaiming this name is an intentional act of resistance and empowerment: a way to honor difference, challenge pathologizing narratives, and affirm that healing must include cultural context, identity, and lived experience. This practice is rooted in the belief that wellness is not about conformity, but about liberation, dignity, and being fully seen in a world that too often asks people to shrink or silence themselves.
